I started in painting before moving into visual storytelling through film and video. My background in fine arts shaped a strong eye for composition, color, light, and atmosphere, which continues to influence my approach to filmmaking. Through directing my own short films and working as a cinematographer on independent projects, I developed an interest in creating thoughtful and visually driven narratives that feel intimate and carefully observedAlongside my film work, I have experience in live events and performance productions, including theater, festivals, and live broadcasts, working in camera operation and live camera direction. My practice also extends into post-production, including editing and color grading. I also hold a qualification as a media designer for image and sound (Mediengestalter Bild und Ton).
